Mr. Yablon joined Impala in 2004 at the firm’s inception. Mr. Yablon is a SENIOR ANALYST with primary coverage of shipping, trucking, railroad, logistics, freight and other transportation related companies. Prior to joining Impala, he was a Managing Director at Credit Suisse First Boston in charge of all freight transportation and logistics equity research from mid 1999-2003. Mr. Yablon worked at Schroder Wertheim as a Managing Director overseeing transportation-related equity research from 1989 to mid 1999, and prior to that was employed at Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. from mid 1986 to mid 1989. Mr. Yablon was recognized as the number one transportation analyst in one or more of the Railroads, Trucking, Airfreight, or Ground Transportation sectors by Institutional Investor Magazine each year from October 1994 to October 2002 .* In 2010, Mr. Yablon was elected to the Institutional Investors sell side Hall of Fame as one of the top rated analysts since the inception of the survey in 1970.*
Mr. Yablon received a B.A. in Political Science from Emory University, and an M.B.A from New York University.
